As women age, their breasts may sag somewhat. This can be exacerbated by pregnancy or nursing. In these situations, many women enjoy beneficial results from a breast lift or “mastopexy.”

In this procedure, the skin of the breast is tightened to return the breast to a more youthful shape, firmness, and position. Sometimes an implant is placed as part of the procedure to increase breast volume. Incisions are usually around the nipple and sometimes extend down to the underside of the breast. There are a lot of options in breast lift surgery, and at Dar Al jamal clinic( Kamel Clinic for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery In Cairo) we will work with you to choose the approach that will create the best results.

Patients who undergo breast reduction surgery frequently are seeking relief from physical symptoms caused by the excessive weight of large breasts. Breast reduction usually can solve these problems as well as improve the size and shape of your breasts. Women with very large, pendulous breasts may experience a variety of medical problems caused by the excessive weight-from back and neck pain and skin irritation to skeletal deformities and breathing problems. Bra straps may leave indentations in their shoulders. And unusually large breasts can make a woman-or a teenage girl-feel extremely self-conscious.
Breast reduction, technically known as reduction mammaplasty, is designed for such women. The procedure removes fat, glandular tissue, and skin from the breasts, making them smaller, lighter, and firmer. It can also reduce the size of the areola, the darker skin surrounding the nipple. The goal is to give the woman smaller, better-shaped breasts in proportion with the rest of he Breast reduction is usually performed for physical relief rather than simply cosmetic improvement. Most women who have the surgery are troubled by very large, sagging breasts that restrict their activities and cause them physical discomfort.
Of all plastic surgery procedures, breast reduction results in the quickest body-image changes. You'll be rid of the physical discomfort of large breasts, your body will look better proportioned, and clothes will fit you better.

Women choose to have breast augmentation for different reasons These personal reasons may center around breasts that are perceived to be under developed, or because of differences in the sizes of the breasts or from changes after pregnancy or breast feeding. Some women may be happy with their breasts but just want them made fuller. Often after weight loss, aging or childbirth a woman's breast volume and shape may change. This too can lead to a woman to seek a breast augmentation. Breast implant surgery performed by cosmetic plastic surgeons is the most popular way to improve breast shape and size. Breast enhancement using breast implants can give a woman more proportional shape and may improve self esteem.

Gynecomastia is a medical term that originates from the Greek words for "women-like breasts." This condition is far more common than many realize. Gynecomastia affects an estimated 40 to 60 percent of the male population. It may affect only one breast or both.
Men of any age who are healthy and emotionally stable are considered good candidates for male breast reduction surgery. The best candidates are those who have firm, elastic skin that will reshape to the body’s new contours.
Enlarged male breasts can be reduced by liposuction and/or by cutting out excess glandular tissue. The procedure for male breast reduction takes an average of two hours, usually on an outpatient basis, using general or local anesthesia. If excessive glandular tissue, fat and skin is present, it will be removed.
Results are permanent, although subsequent obesity can create a gynecomastia-like effect. Some of the benefits of surgery include a firmer, flatter, more contoured chest which may give the male patient a boost in self-confidence. There is little downtime, and you may return to work within one week usually, unless you are involved in strenuous activities.

Liposuction is the most common plastic surgery procedure. The reason is simple: The results tend to be excellent, and many of us have body areas which we wish were thinner The most common areas treated with liposuction include the neck, chin, abdomen, “love handles”, hips, thighs and calves. We treat many men in the chest area, to remove excess fat of the male breast found in a syndrome called “gynecomastia.”
During the procedure, fluid is injected into the fat. This allows for easier sculpting of the tissues, and also introduces anesthetic and a medicine to constrict blood vessels to minimize bleeding. Multiple small incisions are made in areas of natural skin folds to minimize scarring, and small hollow tubes are inserted under the skin to suction out fat. At Dar Al Jamal Clinic (Kamel Clinic for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery), we use techniques individualized your specific needs. Some of these techniques include microliposuction, tumescent liposuction, ultrasound assisted-liposuction, and power-assisted liposuction. The operation is usually done as an outpatient, under general anesthesia or local anesthesia and sedation . Most of our patients have very little pain following liposuction because long-acting local anesthetic is administered as part of the procedure. People usually return to work a day or two after surgery.
The results of liposuction will be permanent, as long as you maintain your postoperative weight. Even if you gain a few extra pounds, you may find that the weight is distributed more evenly instead of accumulating in the areas that were problematic for you in the past.

Are you considering a Tummy Tuck ? There are many situations where a tummy tuck may benefit your body contour. After pregnancy, weight loss, or just plain aging, many people find themselves with excess skin and fat around the belly and decreased strength and tone of the muscles beneath. Abdominoplasty or "tummy tuck" addresses these problems for both women and men. The result is improved body contour and a smoother shape to the abdomen.

During the surgery an incision is made within the "bikini" or "boxer" line under the abdomen; this helps to hide the scar under clothes following the procedure. Excess skin and fat are removed, the muscle beneath is tightened, the skin is redraped to provide a pleasing body shape, and often the belly button is moved to a new position within the freshly contoured abdomen . Many of our patients tell us that with our technique they do not need to use any of their prescribed pain medicine. Most patients return to work a week after surgery.

Body contouring after major weight loss reduces the excess skin and fat that is left behind from the expansion of skin, loss of fat and lack of tissue elasticity that often occurs after a major weight loss. This sagging skin commonly develops around the face, neck, upper arms, breast, abdomen, buttocks, and thighs and can make your body contour appear irregular and misshapen. If you have undergone dramatic weight loss either through diet and exercise or bariatric surgery, and you are at your optimum weight loss goal, you may be a good candidate for this surgery and may wish to consider undergoing this procedure.
The success of body contouring, whether it is done to reduce, enlarge or lift, is influenced by your age and by the size, shape and skin tone of the area to be treated.
Patients may be surprised to learn the extent of plastic surgery that is required to bring their body back to a more normal and aesthetic appearance. Many of these patients will need a total body lift. While surgeons may define this term somewhat differently, treatment most likely would include a tummy tuck, circumferential lower body lift, thigh and buttock lifts, removal of back rolls, breast lift and upper arm lift as well as face and neck procedures to get rid of loose, hanging skin in these areas.
Through recent advances in all types of body contouring surgery, it is now possible for many patients to have a more proportionate body, better body image, and more self-confidence. The best way to get answers to your specific questions to see if you are a good candidate for this type of surgery is through a personal consultation with Dr. Ibrahim Kamel at Dar Aljamal Clinic In Cairo.

Botulinum toxin injections (BTX), often referred to by the product names BOTOX® Cosmetic or Myobloc®, are biological toxins (botulinum toxin) transformed into a therapeutic agent. Work with BTX began in the late 1960s to treat neurological disorders. Today, BTX is used for the treatment of frown lines, forehead furrows, "crow's feet," lines and wrinkles of the lower face, and even nasal muscles (to decrease nostril flaring). BTX injections have proven to be a very popular nonsurgical cosmetic procedure.
Technique:
The patient is asked to contract the muscles in the area being treated so the surgeon can determine the proper location for injection. In most cases, BTX is injected directly into the muscle with a tiny needle. It takes a few days to realize the effect of BTX injections.
Benefits:
• No downtime. Patients can immediately resume normal activities.
• Long experience has proven BTX to be safe. To date, no systemic complications associated with BTX injections have been documented.
• Treatment is reversible within several months.
May be beneficial for treatment of migraine headaches.

Laser hair removal has proven to be a very popular nonsurgical cosmetic procedure. It is a non-invasive, convenient way to permanently reduce unwanted facial or body hair.
Technique:
The process takes from several minutes to several hours, depending on the area of the body involved. Laser hair removal uses a low-energy laser. The laser energy passes through the patient's skin, being absorbed by the pigment in the hair follicle. A percentage of the follicles are instantaneously and permanently disabled with each treatment. In most cases, no anesthesia is necessary.
Benefits:
• A non-invasive, gentle technique that eliminates undesirable hair from all parts of the body.
• Leaves skin looking smoother and silkier.
• Treats larger areas effectively because it removes more than one hair at a time.
• Minimal discomfort.
• Replaces waxing, electrolysis and razors.
• Immediate return to normal activities.

Chin and Cheek Augmentation
The contours of your face may be enhanced by a variety of techniques. Chin augmentation strengthens the appearance of a receding chin by increasing its projection. Similarly, the cheekbones can be made fuller, creating a more sculpted look, using implants. Facial implants provide a permanent and predictable result. Sometimes fat may be injected into specific areas to restore a more youthful fullness to your face. Treatment with fat injections usually Takes 15 min . to restore a beautifull face.
Eyelid Surgery (Blepharoplasty)
Aesthetic eyelid surgery is performed on adults of all ages. Some people have eyelid surgery to correct problems that are a result of aging, while others have inherited traits that cause them to seek treatment as early as their 20s or 30s.
Aesthetic eyelid surgery has the effect of making you look more rested, refreshed and alert.
The results of aesthetic eyelid surgery are long-lasting, but they may be affected by your heredity and lifestyle factors.
Removal of fat from your eyelids, which is usually the cause of puffiness and bags, is permanent, and these conditions generally will not recur. Even though the aging process continues, patients are usually happy with their appearance for many years following eyelid surgery. Some patients find that they want to make additional improvements at a later time.
Facial implants
Facial implants are designed for augmentative, reconstructive or rejuvenative purposes. Available in a wide range of sizes and styles for the chin, jaw, nose and cheek, implants add or restore contour and/or proportion to the face.
Ear Surgery (Otoplasty)
Otoplasty can improve the shape and positioning of your ears. It also can reduce the size of your ears if they are large in proportion to your other features. If your ears protrude more than normal, surgery can reposition them closer to your head.
Ear surgery often is recommended for children as they near total ear development at age five or six. Correction of the ears prior to the child entering school helps eliminate potential psychological trauma from the teasing of classmates. Adults may also have their ears reshaped. As long as you are in good health, there is no upper age limit for this surgery. .
Hair Transplantation
Micro-hair transplantation is a state-of-the-art hair transplantation technique that has replaced "plugs" or larger grafts of hair.
Technique:
Most micro-hair transplant procedures (individual hair micrograft restorations) use local anesthesia and are performed on an outpatient basis. Other procedures such as flap surgery, require general anesthesia and are performed in a surgical setting. After approximately six weeks, the transplanted hair will fall out and be replaced about three months later when the new hair grows in. To achieve sufficient density, several sessions may be required. Transplantation is a progressive process requiring hundreds of micro-grafts, each of which will generally contain from one to three hairs mini-grafted from a donor site on the side or back of the head. They are randomly implanted in the bald (or thinning) area so that they will grow in a natural pattern and produce an undetectable result.
Benefits:
• Procedure is permanent. Once the transplant procedures are complete, there is no further necessity for surgery.
• Restores a natural, more youthful, and vigorous look, with potentially positive psychological effects, such as a boost in confidence.
• Less expensive than other hair-loss treatments, when factored over time.
Face Lift (Rhytidectomy)
A facelift restores smoother, more pleasing contours to your face and neck. It can help you look as good as you feel, and perhaps feel younger than you are. .
Forehead Lift (Brow Lift)
A forehead lift is often performed to treat conditions associated with aging. It may be done in conjunction with other rejuvenative surgery to achieve a more harmonious facial appearance. A forehead lift is also appropriate for treatment of certain inherited traits. Younger adults who have a low brow or who already have deep frown lines due to stress or overactivity of muscles may benefit from the procedure. .
Lip Augmentation
Lip augmentation creates fuller, plumper lips and reduces fine wrinkles around the mouth. Lips may be injected with collagen or with fat transferred from another site in the patient's body. Both liquid collagen and fat are absorbed and repeat treatments are necessary to maintain results. Newer, longer-lasting options include implantable materials like AlloDerm and SoftForm.
Nose Reshaping (Rhinoplasty)
Some of us are unhappy with our nose, either because of its size or shape or because of breathing problems. Rhinoplasty reshapes the skin as well as the bone and cartilage inside to alter the size and shape of the nose. Work on the cartilage that separates the two nasal air passages can help with breathing problems.
At Dar Al jamal Clinic (Kamel Clinic for Aesthetic, we tailor our nose surgery to the needs of each individual patient. The procedure is usually done as an outpatient, under general anesthesia or local anesthesia and sedation administered by a physician anesthesiologist to minimize discomfort during the procedure. Most patients have very little pain following the surgery as well because long-acting local anesthetic is administered as part of the procedure. Most patients return to work about a week after surgery.

Microdermabrasion is effective in reducing fine lines, "crow's feet," age spots and acne scars. It stimulates the production of skin cells and collagen.
Benefits:
• Virtually no side effects.
• Gives the skin an overall fresh, healthy-looking glow.
• Nonsurgical, safe, effective "lunch hour" procedure.
• Effective on all skin colors and types.
• No anesthetic required.
• Excellent for skin sensitive to chemical procedures.
Spider Vein Treatment (Sclerotherapy)
Sclerotherapy was developed in the 1920s for the treatment of spider veins (telangiectasias), small purple and red blood vessels. Spider veins are hereditary, and while most commonly found on the thigh or lower leg, can form virtually anywhere on the leg, from the uppermost region of the thigh to the ankle. Occasionally, spider veins will appear on the face. Sclerotherapy has proven to be a very popular nonsurgical cosmetic procedure.
Technique:
The veins to be treated are marked while the patient is standing. Larger veins are usually treated first. A sclerosing solution is injected into the vein with a micro-needle. The solution causes the vein to turn white (blanch), and then gradually disappear. A typical treatment lasts from 30 minutes to an hour. Injection sclerotherapy can be an excellent alternative to surgery, provided the patient's venous system is not affected.
Benefits:
• No downtime-patients can immediately resume work and all normal activities. But the patient is advised to refrain from vigorous activities for the first 24 hours.
• Little if any discomfort.
• A safe, time-proven procedure.
Other Considerations:
• Complete correction is not expected on the first treatment. Only about 50 to 70% of the treated vessels will be permanently gone. 3 to 4 treatments are generally required for optimal results.
• Patients may be asked initially to wear heavy-duty stockings to help keep treated veins closed and reduce bruising.
• On occasion, small clots can develop at the site of the injection.
• Color changes can occur in the skin where sclerotherapy has been performed.
• In some cases, laser treatments may be an alternative to sclerotherapy.
• If there is an underlying problem with the venous system, the veins will recur.
Chemical Skin Peel: Light to Midium
Skin peeling involves an application of a chemical solution to sun-damaged, unevenly pigmented, and finely wrinkled facial areas. The procedure is meant to diminish imperfections by peeling away the skin's top layers. It has proven to be a very popular nonsurgical cosmetic procedure. Chemical peels vary according to their specific ingredients and their strength. Depth of peeling action may also depend on factors such as how long solutions remain on the skin and whether they are lightly applied, or more heavily or vigorously applied.
We have our own peeling technique . at Dar Aljamal Clinic (kamel Clinic for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery in Cairo).
